Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) the ability of the child to do the stages of scientific approach, 2) how fur an early childhood  can think critically, 3) describe the relationship of critical thinking skills with creative thinking skills of children, and 4) the contribution of learning with scientific approach to improve the critical skills and creative thinking of children. The method used is the study of literature from a various of sources. Results obtained an early age children are ready to perform the learning with scientific approach, but in doing the each stage of learning adapted to their developmental level. Their critical thinking different to the level of critical thinking adults. When a child’s think creatively, they have verify with critical thinking skills. Learning process with the scientific approach can significantly improve critical thinking and creative skills.
